NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
PrayerCenter - View Prayer Listing

Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the needful practice of the Christian. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James 4:8

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Father, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.

My friend's sister, Lisa, had her surgery and the drs found that she has stage 3 ovarian cancer. Please pray for her and her family.

Joan Emick - had a heart attack on Monday and needs a bi-pass, but she has other medical problems that need to be addressed before the doctors will do it. Pray that she pulls through.

Please pray for Laura Lee Oldham (Karen Offenbacker's mom) - she is in surgery to have her lungs cleaned.

Pray for Tori Joyce, one of the kids in our youth dept. She is having surgery today and she's nervous!

Praise God. My sister, Carrie, had her thyroid removed due to cancer. The reports came back and the cancer did not spread outside of the thyroid. She will still need radiation as a precaution. Thank you for all of your prayers.

My girlfriends sister has a mass as large as a cantaloupe. She has to have a total hysterectomy on August 26th. At that point they will test the mass and see if it is cancerous...If it is, they will remove lymph nodes to see if it metastasized. Please pray that the mass is not cancerous and that God's will giver her and her family the strength to deal with the situation.

Please pray for Ashley, who was planning on ending her life on August 1, 2010. We thank God that she opened up enough to let someone know, so action could be taken to get help. As of today, 8-3-10 she is seeing a Christian psychiatrist which we are also thanking God for. Prayer is powerful, and our God loves to prove Himself to be real. We wish Ashley could see this!
